Good place to bring the family for some dinner because they have huge portions, their prices are reasonable and pack a lot of flavor.
If you’re ever in the Mesa Gilbert area or anywhere where there’s this restaurant you definitely have to go. The happy hour is amazing AFFORDABLE. The food is delicious. The portions are beyond more than enough. You will never be disappointed here. I love going to this place overall it is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to in AZ. Trust me you will not be disappointed when you go. Let me know how good it is.
Lively atmosphere and multiple parties were waiting outside for tables. First time here for a party of 6. Food was absolutely delicious. We will be back
First time at this nandos and wanted to taste something new. Wife got birria tacos, tasted good, had to ask for the dipping sauce. I got the faja pasta. The garlic break sat on the plate so long before we received our food that the bread stuck to the plate. Overall the food tasted fine. I got a couple jalapeños that were just way too hot. Servers were not very attentive and we had to ask for refills of drinks.
I have been at the location in Mesa and we really enjoyed it a lot. I decided to give the one in Gilbert to try. The first thing I realize is the happy hour menu was completely different. This included the drink menu. The drinks were about half the size as the other location. We ordered the guacamole appetizer. It was filled with onions and you could tell it wasn’t real guacamole. The color was almost fluorescent and it tasted awful. When we let the server know, she said a lot of people said the same thing and asked to have it taken back. I’m surprised that they would continue to sell it as it was very poor quality. we ended up sharing the fajitas, which were very good. I had mixed feelings about this restaurant and the review because the other Nando’s was so much better than this one. The atmosphere was clean and the service was good so if you’re into a good fajita platter, I can recommend that however, if you want the full experience, I would go to the Mesa location instead.
Nando’s is an amazing neighborhood spot! Love the food, the service is always great and margaritas are always amazing! If you like green chile pork, a must try is the cheese crisp with the hatch chile pork. Just fabulous
$5 margaritas on Saturdays (all day) and Lunch Specials all week. The shredded beef taco salad is delicious. I had enough beef to make machaca for breakfast!
